~Let it Go~

The bane of my existence! Linking up over at Courtney's, I have learned & trying really hard to let go & shrug stuff off, be flexible, and sometimes even the best laid plans can go up in smoke-then rethink, regroup & it's usually not the camera's fault and it's certainly not worth losing sleep over! Yup...Just let it go!
I am happy to say I snapped this photo of "my" baby raven flying off after being scared half to death from a neighboring falcon who seems to think it amusing to dive bomb others while enjoying their breakfast at our feeder. The bokeh is mine too! I need to find a way to make it available to you all-as a gift of sorts....it's pretty-and GOTTA love Kim Klassen's clone stamp!
Happy Snapping

  1. Visiting from "Click it up a notch". I share your struggle to let things go...it was actually my New Year's Resolution this past year to work on this. You chose a perfect photo to symbolize letting it go too. Love the background and bokeh. BEautiful.

  2. Love this, I love bird silhouettes! Gorgeous bokeh too! There's always another day another photo, especially when you're experimenting and pushing boundaries sometimes you just have off days. But then you have a wonderful day!

  8. What a beautiful image! Love the bokeh and the soft colors of the background! I hear you on learning to let go. I wrote a post about just that explaining why I picked that image of my daughter with the umbrella as my logo. That was probably my worst "photographer" night ever. I love that silhouette picture b/c it reminds me to "let it go" :O)
