...in Autumn
*and a luster in it's sky
I had to look up Percy Bysshe Shelley to find out that he was a romantic, English poet. I like to put a face to the name, read a bit on who I'm quoting. I sure wish I could come up with stuff like this. I am SO not a poet.
Is it just me, or is the sky really more lustrous this time of year?
Today was more my speed, foggy in the morning, a chill in the air...like 68* chilly on the school yard. I love playing with the kids and would NOT let them whine and complain about how cold it was. "We just got off a heat wave and you want to complain to me about being cold? I have no sympathy...it's refreshing...no go on and stop your complaining."
Yup...no sympathy Ms Kelly, but they love me!
Happy (fall) Snapping!

I love a fall sky. The blue is always so much bluer. I tried to capture the sky the other evening. The blue was actually a turquoise that I don't think I've ever seen before. My camera couldn't do it justice. Not at all.
ReplyDeleteI just used sentences about Mary Shelley this week in class. About her and Frankenstein!
Oh I do have to agree with you on the sky at this time of the year...it is so much bluer and the clouds are puffier. Sure glad you cooled off a bit, now it will seem more like fall to you. FYI I referred to you on my post today, you and "your girls".
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Love how you captured that dangling spider.
ReplyDeleteWow Kelly.
ReplyDeleteAwesome capture!
