L'shana tova...

...
Happy New Year

Last night marked the start of Rosh Hashanah or Jewish New Year.
It literally means "head of the year" & is believed to be the anniversary of the creation of Adam & Eve.
We are not deeply religious but more cultural and love being around family, friends and partaking in traditional foods like dipping apples in honey, pomegranates, round challah (bread) and dates.

Today, I'm slowly coming out of my food coma from last nights festivities!

Happy (apple dipping) snapping!

  4. I'm back tracking here a bit on Friday morning because my internet went out on Thursday. That said - Happy New Year! Great timing on the drop of honey.

  5. School is overtaking me, so it's getting harder and harder to visit blogs. I saw this photo on IG and loved it then and love it even more now. I didn't notice the honey dripping in the IG shot. It's also nice to hear how everything fits together with the holiday. Hugs xx
