Friday's letters...

...& randomness

Dear week,
I can totally get into 4 day weekends and 3 day work weeks!

Dear Stasha,
You are like IG/blogging famous and I'm so excited

THIS...

...is going to happen. I'm already shooting and planing for that Monday Listicles!

Dear Diana Nyad,

Thank you for your inspiring swim and becoming a true sports hero (at least in my eyes.) Your tenacity and grit has gotten me back in the pool and I think maybe even changing my morning routine while we still have triple digits. Now I won't be swimming to do anything like what you just did, it'll be more like just getting use to moving this body again and working towards my "50 & fabulous (inside & out)" goal in January.

Short and sweet this week!

My favorite part of the day is sharing over at
Nancy's
for Random 5 Friday
1. My dish sponge & dish soap are the same color. It helps my boys from constantly asking which sponge is for the dishes (& NOT cleaning the floor, and the stove, and the grill...)

2. I don't like riding on ferris wheels. It MIGHT have something to do with being stuck at the top of a
double one...in one of those cheesy fairs that pass through your town kind...in the rain...
...just sayin'!

3. I'm a morning person and will get up just to enjoy the sunrise.

4. I secretly want to own a small (farmhouse) B&B.

5. I graduated high school in Misawa, Japan

I'd love for you to share a random thought with me.

Happy (it's Friday) snapping!
xo

  1. Diana Nyad is truly an inspiration to every woman - whether it is to get back into the water, or just 'get back into' something - she sent a strong message that you should never let loose of those dreams and as a woman, you are more than capable.

    Graduated in Japan - nice!

  2. You 50? No way.

And you must be a military brat like me -- I love anything Japanese (mostly) and would love to visit someday.

Thanks so much for joining in today Kelly -- love learning more about you. xo

  5. I could definitely get into 4 day weekends as well! haha. I think it's so neat that you graduated from school in Japan. I've never traveled very much, so I admire world travelers!

So glad you stopped by my blog. Hope you have a good weekend :)

  6. I use my dish sponge to wipe off the stove...is that bad? I am a morning person also. I hate to waste a minute - I love the idea of a farm but wouldn't want to live on one and I would never want to run a B & B but I would come and be your guest. My first husband was 1/4 Japanese which means my daughters are 1/8 -which means that my grandchildren (should I have any) will be 1/16 unless they have children with some one who is Japanese...
