Book...

...Review

*My mom, who lives in Fl., my Aunt M, who lives up in No Ca, & I have our own little book club. We can't all be together in person but we are definitely together in the spirit of reading. We text furiously when we get to that first "gasp" moment. Our current book is Between Shades of Gray-It is page turner from the very get go. We LOVE historical fiction and wonder where we were in 7th grade history! Well, if history was written like this I would have made straight A's!

Picking out the perfect book mark is part of a new read ritual for me. My mom made me this one :-)
I hope books are NEVER replaced by electronic readers. I need to smell, and feel that book paper.

There is just something so magical curling up in your special nook to take time for yourself and get lost in a good book.
Happy Snapping!

  9. Such a beautiful presentation and I also love CeeCee.It was my favorite this year. I will have to look up Between Shades of Gray.
And I would absolutely die if I could not physically hold a book in my hands and look at it on my shelf.
You have a beautiful web page.

  11. Agreed. I need to be able to smell and feel the book paper too. That is part of reading a book. I know book nooks are popular these days, but I so prefer the real thing to its electronic cousin.

Really beautiful images, Kelly. That bookmark is amazing.

  12. well let's see I have read three of the books on your stack and have enjoyed them immensely. I agree that I hope e-readers never totally replace real books, but unfortunately I think it is happening quicker than we imagine. Lovely display of your books, lovely editing.

  13. Love the idea of keeping in touch with your family through a virtual book club. Beautiful photos and beautiful books, I have read most of them, "those who save us" was an amazing reading. I have an electronic reader and it´s fantastic, but nothing compares to a "real book".
