Happy...

...sigh!
Linking up with KK over at her cafe for 12-days-of-textures
She's just given out some "magic" textures and they are pure joy to work with. I wonder if she names these textures "magic" cause that's what happens when you apply them...Magic!
Thank you for all your well wishes on my earlier "I've got the crud" post. I still have bronchitis but after 4 days~my voice is slowly returning. I fell behind in everything from taking care of the house to finishing my holiday shopping. I've had to tell myself 100 times to let it go, it's ok, the world goes on & taking care of myself is far more important than ending up worse than how I started.
Are you too hard on yourself? Do you find that if you forgive yourself it all works out anyway? Be gentle on yourself, it's ok....really!

Happy Snapping

  1. Honestly, aren't these just fantastic textures?!?! I love this latest gift from Kim. And you chose a wonderful photo and application for it. Am I hard on myself? Haha, it would be easier to count the times I WASN'T hard on myself :). You are not alone in that trait my friend :). Glad u r feeling better!

  2. Kelly, I have fallen in love with your blog and also with your photographs. Thank you for the wonderful compliments on mine and, I must say, yours are absolutely stunning. Love the DOF in all your shots and your brilliant subtle use of textures-I am only just beginning to learn how to use textures myself-and am really impressed with your ability here in that regard. Really wonderful stuff! I will certainly be back to see what you're up to! Happy Holidays to you and yours! Angie :)

  4. So happy to hear you're starting to feel better. I am one of the worst when it comes to being hard on myself. I think it goes with the job title "Mom".

Love what you're doing with the textures in this photo. Kim K. really has such an amazing talent and to share it with everyone is beyond gracious.

  5. This time of year we are all too hard on ourselves I think - especially us women who believe we're superwoman!

Lovely photograph. Soft and beautifully lit.
