"Well I'd buy you a fur coat
But not a real one
that's cruel"
I'm playing over at Kathy's today.
Truth be told, I don't listen to Bare Naked Ladies so therefore I had definitely not heard of the song~ BUT, when I listened to the lyrics & heard the line above, I knew instantly what I wanted to do. And no worries, I don't own any fur...and I think it's kinda funny that this just happens to be a faux fur blanket...that sheds!
But as long as we're playing and dreaming, what I'd really LOVE to do IF I did have a million is take my man and get lost in Europe until the money ran dry and I was stone broke
(but before that, I'd put away some for my kiddos)

So thank you Kathy, for a fun way to interpret a song that's kinda folksy and totally fun to act out. Now I'm headed over to see what others would do with a million dollars.
Happy (fake spending a cool mil) snapping!

Well hey there pretty girl :). You are proof that a million dollars can't buy beauty (and we KNOW many have tried!)...it comes from within and just shines thru. What a gorgeous portrait...fake fur blanket and all :). And I'm with ya on the travelling Europe til I'm broke. I would do that in a nano-second. Thanks for joining in on Song-ography my friend!
ReplyDeleteThat's gorgeous!! I would go get lost in Europe too!!
ReplyDeleteI love the muted tones of this with your striking eyes! Gorgeous! Man, Europe is so on my someday list. I would love to travel around ala Rick Steve's, the PBS guy.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait till my time to travel! Thanks for stopping by Kim.
DeleteReally love this shot, and wow, how those blue eyes do stand out!
ReplyDeleteI've always loved this selfie!
ReplyDeleteEurope is way down on my list ... I want to see this country! Every.Single.State.
This is actually a new one D-I did it this morning-at 7a.m!!
DeleteGorgeous photo! Beautiful tones, she looks like a Snow Queen!
ReplyDeleteYou look like a princess from a fairy tale....and I really love that so many of us would spend their money on travels!
ReplyDeleteI noticed that right off the bat after visiting everyone!! Thank you!
DeleteWhat a beautiful photograph this is, Kelly!
ReplyDeleteAmazing portrait. I think your travel Europe idea is fab. If your guy doesn't want to go...text me. I'm in.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful portrait!
ReplyDeleteAh if you traveled till you were broke how would you get back home! - You have expressive and beautiful eye. Love the "faux fur" blanket.
ReplyDeleteYou're looking fantabulous in your faux fur blanket coat! I like your whole idea about getting lost in Europe, but if I won the moolah, my husband wouldn't enjoy getting lost like that. He might humor me for a few weeks though. (I love your new header by the way! It's gorgeous.)
ReplyDeleteThose beautiful blue eyes; you are definitely a gorgeous snow bunny....
ReplyDeleteHas anyone told you how incredibly stunning you are? Well, you are - like OMG gorgeous - those eyes. One day I hope I can photograph my daughter such that it really shows how incredible her eyes are (people have compared them to Elizabeth Taylor's) - I haven't mastered getting 'that' shot that really showcases the eyes with her (perhaps if she would just relax).
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of Europe and going till the kitty is dried up - that plus giving to the kids (like minds). Perhaps we can join up our hypothetical fortunes - I'll spring for the plane, you supply the accommodations. Of course, my back-up plan is to call Kathy's "If I had a Million Dollars" and raise her "Billionaire" by Travie McCoy and Bruno Mars cause I really don't see that million covering the tab. Hey, if you're gonna get hypothetical it might as well be 'go big or go home' right?
this is a picture of YOU! and early in the morning!! double WOW! I wish I would look that good after getting my face on. YEP... you could be a model & make more than a Million.
ReplyDeleteHow fun! Love the photo :) I'd have to say I could think of ways to use a million no problem. My husband and I often talk about it and dream about having tons of money!
ReplyDeletePS - So glad you stopped by my blog from ARJ. I hope you guys are able to move to a rural setting - there's nothing like it! I love having chickens and farm fresh eggs :)
Gorgeous photo, Kelly! If I had a million dollars, I would travel too :)
ReplyDeleteSuch an amazing photo in so many ways. Thanks so much for the visit Kelly. xo
